Donna S. Barfield received her B.A from Mercer University in 1982, and her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law in 1984. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in January 1985 and began her legal career with Britton, Cassell, Shantz and Shotzman, a large Miami firm, focusing on civil litigation, creditors’ rights in bankruptcy proceedings and in diverse and complex real estate transactions. Ms. Barfield subsequently joined the firm of Robert Reynolds, P.A. and honed her skills as a trial lawyer. She also represented the firm's corporate clients and landowners in real estate transactions and Eminent Domain proceedings.

Attorney at Law

Ryan R. McCain joined Barfield, P.A. as an associate with the firm after receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Stetson University in 2003 and received his J.D. degree, graduating cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 2006. While at Stetson College of Law, he was honored to be a senior associate for the Stetson Law Review, served as a Federal Judicial Intern to the Honorable Magistrate Judge Jenkins in the Middle District of Florida, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. Additionally, Ryan received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and the Collegiate All-American Scholar Award while at Stetson University College of Law.
